Education
Kent Morrell is committed to enhancing opportunities for all students in the 7th District by funding quality education, supporting parental rights, and education freedom. By advocating for vocational training and career preparedness, we aim to ensure that every child receives a quality education that prepares them for the future.
Healthcare
Kent Morrell supports removing government regulations so we can expand healthcare services and reduce costs to improve the well-being of our community members. He supports medical freedom and patient rights ensuring that everyone can lead a healthy life. He believes we need to remove the special interests in the healthcare industry that put patients and families last.
Housing
Kent Morrell supports protecting the voice of current community residents on the direction of what happens in their community. All too often politicians support silencing voices to benefit wealthy developers who are fundamentally changing the character of our communities. Kent recognizes there is a war on the suburbs and single family detached homeowners and plans to make sure he protects them while expanding affordable home ownership in our community.
Illegal Immigration
Kent Morrell fully supports the state of Tennessee cooperating with President Trump’s immigration enforcement and believes the state can do even more. Too many politicians in Nashville are failing to make sure state tax dollars are not going to illegal immigrants. With your help by voting for change we can end this.
Crony Corporatism
Tennessee has so much tax money now they are giving hundreds of millions to “green climate agenda” corporations, nonprofit NGOs, and sport stadium owners. All the while we have serious infrastructure and public safety needs in our local communities. Kent Morrell understands we need to prioritize spending to invest first in the people of Tennessee so they have safe roads, safe schools, and safe communities.
Election Integrity
Kent Morrell fully supports protecting the election integrity of our Republican primaries to make sure only voters who support Republican candidates can vote for them. Every election cycle in Tennessee we have tens of thousands of Democrats who vote in our Republican primaries to pick the weakest candidate for our party and then votes against that candidate in November. He understands that the Republican primary is for Republicans and Democrats should not be allowed to interfere with our election process.
